Join us for a memorable evening with the Minnesota Orchestra for a performance of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, featuring world-renowned violinist Erin Keefe. In addition, the Wharton Club will host a reception with drinks and dinner.
A note about the performance from the Minnesota Orchestra:
Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto is a tour-de-force whirlwind. At times you’ll expect sparks to fly from the violin of Erin Keefe, but you’ll also experience lyrical, deeply touching moods in the middle movement, the true heart of this piece. The concert’s amazing conclusion: all four of Wagner’s dramatic Ring cycle works encapsulated in a riveting one-hour event—presented byMark Wigglesworth, the star conductor just named to the English National Opera's top post.
