Join us for a wonderful summer evening at the Guthrie Theater, featuring Sundays in the Park with George. This Pulitzer Prize winning musical follows painter Georges Seurat in the months leading up to the completion of his most famous painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. It is sure not to disappoint – the recent Broadway revival of the musical garnered rave reviews and a Critic’s Pick from the NY Times.
Following the play, we will enjoy a private discussion with Carla Steen, a dramaturg with the Guthrie for more than 15 years.
Additionally, join us for a pre-play meal at Kindee Thai, around the corner from the Guthrie. (Dinner is self-pay, not included in the ticket price)
